Dear Slovenia,

just a thought from a Dewesoft user regarding some features which would in my opinion be quite useful on the visual controls.

Using the recorder control when monitoring trends, I usually find myself needing to take the average of the measured values over periods of time, say at a certain step once things have settled down to steady state values. It would be really nice to be able to quickly calculate the average between the white cursors. This could be some kind of display similar to the "Show cursor values" option. That saves having to create an extra math channel to calculate a single average for each quantity of interest.

The other suggestion relates to the autoscale functionality. Is it possible to manually define the maximum and minimum display limits for one channel and then automatically copy them to the other channels on the same control? This is similar to the <ctrl> + Left mouse button but defined for the custom values.

Hi,

I've added your first request to the wish. I'll let you know if there'll be any development on that front.

I think your second request is already somewhat possible. If you for example have a single recorder with multiple channels on it, you can use the "single value axis" option, which makes the y axis the same for all of the channels that are plotted on that graph. If you therefore define the max/min limits, they will be applied to all of the channels. Is this what you were looking for?

Ah yes that does the trick for recorders. Doesn't work on Scopes though!
