Hello Dewesoft.

I use X3 SP10 version. it's good update especially about FFT Analyzer.

 - Added Rms, Peak, Peak-Peak calculation for defined FFT frequency range

However, in us company, it is common to express in dB instead of Pa.

Is it possible to create an option to automatically convert to dB

when calculating the RMS or Peak in a specific frequency range with the FFT analyzer?

I don't want to do post-processing calculations to simplify work.

Thanks.

Dear Mr. Matsumoto,

thank you for the feedback about the FFT analyser.

Regarding the conversion from Pa to dB, there are 2 options that you can use.

1.) When you show FFT spectrum on 2D graph, you can change the Y axis to Sound dB. This is just a visual transformation and does not create a math channel.

2.) If you want to create a math channel, that will transform from Pa to dB, you can use a simple formula:

Hello Sirk,

Thank you reply.

I want to automatically convert [Output Scales] of FFT Analysis to dB. It can be drawn on X-T graph (Recorder window).

I know how to convert Pa to dB by calculation, but I want to automate this process.

Dear Mr. Matsumoto,

we added a request to automatically convert from Pa unit to dB on our Wish list.

I will inform you about implementation of the feature or about another solution asap.

Best regards,
