Two graph widgets with seperate zoom scales. Export to AVI. Is this possible??

I'm trying to customize an analyze/review screen with the end goal being to Export Screen to AVI for engineering-presentation purposes.

I have two graph widgets, each with the same channels selected.

I'd like one graph to show zoomed IN so they can see how the actual signals are interacting, and one graph to show zoomed OUT so they can see where in the data file peak events occur across the whole data set

I want for them to be able to pause, fast forward, rewind to peak events.

However, when I make zoom adjustments to one graph it affects the other graph so there's no way to have two seperate zoom levels. Is this even possible???

Here's what I'd like:

The graph near the bottom of the window to show zoomed in like the image below:

And the graph at the top to show zoomed out like this (overview of where the peak spikes occur so they can fast forward to that spot, yet see the zoomed region in the bottom graph):

And with the magic of Photoshop, would look something like this:

but I can't make changes to one without the other being affected.

The alternate would be to add the preview graph in the AVI export, but this graph does not seem to be included when you export screen to AVI:

How can I make this possible?

This video will be presented for an important engineering-review committee so it needs to look good and make sense.

I've blocked the camera widgets out for purposes of the screen shots but I hope you can visualize the need for a request like this.

EDIT: Forgot to mention. In Measure mode you CAN have two zoom levels per graph so I'm having trouble understanding why this isn't supported in analyze/playback mode.

I understand that you would like to present different zoom on different recorder. This would be especially handy when you would like to zoom to the transient.

I've analyzed the request with the product team. DewesoftX cannot present different portion of data on the same display due to the limitation of the load engine of data file in the background.

A workaround, which doesn't comply to you request completely, is to use Report option and use different zoom on different page. Then you can export this to PDF for example. See attached PDF for a reference.

The feature request for "Add preview of the signal to the Export to AVI" is a good one and might solve your challenge the easiest. The request was passed to the development team. I will keep you posted about the progress.

In the Measure mode you are presenting live data, i.e. you can have different zoom to the portion of the new data only while you cannot have different zoom when you press "Freeze" button. Then DewesoftX behaves the same as in Analyze mode.
