Totalizing Function
How does one go about setting up a totalizing function based on a rate, and include a reset without having to stop acquisition?
Example:
I have a liquid flow rate sensor that is outputting an vdc signal & scaled to si units in X3 (ml/min).
How do i get total accumulated volume since start of test, and how do i reset that value mid test, without having to stop the test?

Hi,
Thank you for your question Dustin. Can you please send us your setup file? We need to know how do you use the channels and their values.

Hi Matic,
I have no setup yet.
The sensor scales ~ 0 - 20 L/min -> 4 - 20 mA I can set the sensor up fine..
The question is: During the test I need a total volume (accumulated volume), and be able to zero/tare that value mid test without having to stop recording, via manual control or trigger based.

Hi,
I've tried your setup and it seems OK? As Flow is 0 Accumulation stops otherwise increases. Please see recorded video.

Hi,
Yes it seems to function ok, but i was talking about the recorder. Why does the yellow line just jump up and down, and not appear as a like a square wave when your changing the values.
Customer Support Engineer
Hi,
You control the User input of yellow line with Switch. Which means that line has value 0 or 20. That works as you set. For better understanding of display settings I suggest you our training course. https://training.dewesoft.com/online/course/display-settings
