Hi!

In the setup for Torque you can choose shunt resistor by using "use custom shunt resistor". When I choose 80kOhm the Bridge shunt is still 100kOhm and it is not possible choose another size.

I have Dewesoft X3 SP8.

Dear Benji N,

we apologise for the late response on this issue.

When you use a custom shunt resistor, the bridge shunt value does not change.

So to use a custom shunt:

  1. Connect your shunt as shown on the bottom scheme (bridge shunt - R still needs to be connected.)
  2. Check the box "Use custom shunt resistor" and enter your custom shunt value (my test value was 100kOhm)
  3. The shunt button should be set to "Shunt off"
  4. Measure the result(my result was:0,87mV/V), enter the value as "Shunt cal target" and select "Check". The result should be close to 0%
