storing always fast set to default?

Hello,

We have had a few occasions where the user has logged data at the slow rate instead of high, because the system was set at slow from a previous test and the setting was overlooked.

Is there a global setting to default every logging session to always fast, unless the user chooses or confirms different? Either a check box somewhere like Options > Settings > Storing, or a dialog after clicking Store asking to confirm storing rate if it's at any setting other that always fast.

Dear Michael,

Thank you for asking this. By default the Storing type is set to "always fast" when the customer starts a measurement with the "New setup".

To overcome user error is to advice test engineer to either create new setup every time, or to predefine setups for certain measurements. I'm affraid we cannot do much more on that concern.

I believe the sequencer has an option to set storing speed automatically.
