Slow offline help HTML files

My test PC is not connected to the internet and is very slow to open the offline help HTML files. Page to page navigation (by clicking the links within the help file) is also very slow (~10 seconds to load a page). I've tried Chrome and Internet Explorer and also toggled the setting "Offline user manual resources only" in project settings but the issue persists. Other forums suggest that the issue is that the html contains a link to external content that the browser attempts to connect. Do you have any suggestions for fixing?

Hello Matt,

thank you for reaching out to us. We have tried to replicate your issue, but have been unsuccessful. We have tested the issue on Firefox, Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. We first tried simply going offline, opening DewesoftX and then pressing F1 button, to enter the manual. We later deleted the Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data as well as cached images and files. We restarted the computer, and once again entered DewesoftX and loaded the manual. In both cases, it took at most 4 seconds to load the manual, and up to 3 seconds to load a new page once inside the manual.
It is possible, that your computer is running too many things at once, and is therefore loading the manual at a slower pace? It is also possible that the links to external content are making the loading time a little longer, however, this should not be an issue with "Offline user manual resources only" selected. You could try minimising the amount of programs your computer is running, as well as clearing the Browser cookies and history, just in case there's anything there that is causing issues. If there's any chance that you could connect the computer to the internet (for a couple minutes) you could try that, and then try loading the manual and going through a few pages, just to see if the issue persists.

Best regards
