Sequencer: Load and Play several files
I'm new to using sequencer and cannot find the command to play a file ... I can start a dewesoft (X3) instance and load up a data file, I can place the screen in Analyse mode, but found no way to make the file play. Ie where is the PLAY command?
What I want to do, eventually, is load and play several files and play them back as a sequence of signals ( giving a series of signals out of a sirius analogue output ).

Hi,
there currently isn't any sequencer command that would allow you to play the data file. I'll add it to the wish list and let you know if this feature gets added.
Your only option as the moment is to record a macro. What I mean by that is to use the macro block, which allows you to record the movement and the actions of your mouse, which you could use to press the play button. The downside to this is that it doesn't work on Windows 10, and that it's of course subject to the resolution of the screen. The macro option is located under the "Others" tab.

Hi,
I'd just like to inform you that we've added this feature to DEWESoft. I'll let you know when a version with this update will be available on our webpage.

Hi,
I'd like to inform you that this feature has already been added to DEWESoft about a month ago. The version which has this feature at the moment is X3 SP3, and is available for download.
In order to play the data file, you should first load it and then use the SetMainToolBar function, as is shown in the attachment. After that, you can use the wait block with the Wait for stop playing option, which will cause the sequence to pause until the file has been played.
