Sequencer form

Hi,

I wonder about the "cancel button" in the form block in the sequencer. As far as my investigation goes it seems like the cancel button does not change the value of the form variable.

E.g. I have a sequence variable set by a selection list in the form block with a cancel button. If the cancel button doesn't give any indication of being used at all it doesn't seem to be of much use? The only way to "see" that a user have pressed cancel is to set a new value of the variable just before the form block and calculate if there has been a change to the value just after the block. Which is rather cumbersome when having many form blocks...

Is there a possibility that I'm wrong or that we can get a "cancel state value" or such in future updates?

I can see that a non-answer on the selection form generates a "-1" as text or float depending on the variable setting if the "Use selection by index value" is true. It would be great if cancel generated e.g. "-2" or such.

Dear Benjamin,

thank you for contacting us. As you have noticed the cancel button does not return any value indicating that the form was canceled. Our developers are planning to introduce this feature but we do not know the timeline when this feature will be added. For now the workaround, as you already know, is to set a new value to the variable just before the form block and calculate if the value was changed.

Kind regards.

Thanks for the reply. Good to know that it is on the "to do-list".
