If I change the sensor scaling to say lbf after switching a few screens it will revert to the input channel units which are mv/v. Dewesoft does this on multiple channels. Version 2022.6

@Gary Floyd

Dear Gary,

could you clarify the version of Dewesoft that you are using please? Because there is no version 2022.6. Maybe you're talking about version 2021.6?

Best regards.

@Gary Floyd

Dear Gary,

I tried to reproduce your issue, but I didn't succeed. Could you send additional information or a video with detailed steps to reproduce the issue?

You can also use The Physical quantities editor to specify the default units of measurement.

The Physical quantities editor

Physical quantities editor does not exist in this version of dewesoft it was introduced later. Detailed steps to reproduce, change units, go through normal setup like taring/zeroing and then units change when we are in measurement at some point. Will try to be more precise when I watch again. I may attach the dxs shortly as well.

@Gary Floyd

Dear Gary,

Please clarify did you manage to reproduce the problem? Can you send a .dxs file for analysis please?

I can duplicate this 100% on the machine at work. Literally change the units and it will revert after leaving the screen. I can’t get it duplicate on another machine or dewesoft version on a non work machine. So I would guess it’s one virus and other security software on the work machine contributing to this problem.

@Gary Floyd

Dear Gary,

If the problem appears only on one computer, it may be worth trying to reinstall Dewesoft. This should solve your issue.

Best regards.

I can confirm the issue is not present in 2023.5. But 2023.5 has a bug causing different analog or counter channels to be selected in math channels when getting in and out of dewesoft , this has happened in other versions of dewesoft as well.

Hello Gary,

Thank you for the feedback.

With regards to the "bug causing different analog or counter channels to be selected in math channels" I wonder if you refer to the error that a Math input channels get corrupted if we click cancel in AI channel setup? Video is attached.

My issue is unrelated, although I have seen the digital output setup, statistics and delay channels get corrupted if the cancel button is pressed, at least in older versions have not tried to verify in this version of dewesoft.

Ok, I understand that the issue problem I presented does not relate to the issues you described in the previous reply. If you can provide more narrow scenario on how to reproduce we will evaluate and request the development for a fix.
