SendMail Plugin - add details in message

I am looking into the possibilities of using the sendmail plug as a means of sensing an alarm mail.
The alarm works, but I cannot find a way of adding specific information in the message.
I would like to add measurements values and/or the triggering condition and not just a static text.
Can this be done?

Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to customize the message.

We plan to rewrite the plugin in the future and such possibilities are planned, but there is currently no ETA on the release.
