Selcet Directory in Data File Setup

Dear All,

in the new X3 SP6 and SP7 software i find that it is not possible to change the directory in which the data files are saved from the data file setup menu. It is possible to access the general prefrences from there and reset the default saving directory but a direct change of the directory from the data file setup is not possible. The given directory is grey and the field cannot be altered. The change over the default directory is rather cumbersome and is only a workaround solution. Is it possible to set the directory for data file storage directly? Any ideas why this isn't working?

I attached a screenshot to illustrate the problem (screen shot in german unfortunately..)

Dear Patrick,

this option was discarged because the direct directory altering was causing to many problems. We think it is not that big of a workaround maybe two additional cliks.
