We recently noticed for a channel in Dewesoft that the sign of the scale was negative when looking at the channel properties in Analysis mode vs. the scale being positive when in Measure or the Analog sensor database. Please see the attached image. Is there something in the setup of a channel that could cause this?

Dear Britton,

we can reproduce this behaviour and will report it as a bug. Our developers will look into this issue. We will update you, when we have any update.

Dear Britton ,

our developers have looked into this issue and found out that this is a normal behaviour. When you choose nonlinear scaling, we actually change the whole RAW signal in the buffer. And you can not actually access back to the actual raw data if you choose nonlinear scaling.

If you need linear scaling, like in your case, you should choose the Linear scaling. When linear scaling is chosen, you can also adapt it in the Analyse mode.

If you need RAW signals you can always use Scaling Math option, which creates an additional channel.

@Eva Kalšek

Thanks for the follow up. Changing to a linear scale rather than a polynomial resulted in the behavior we were looking for.
