Every time a new version of X3 comes along, I'm keen to try it; but too many times it doesn't work at first. Meanwhile I need a working copy of dewesoft every working day.

Installing new dewesoft versions overwrites the previous version by default.

Is there a way to install a new version in its own directory (ie in a sandbox) so I can check it out before over-writing / uninstalling a previous "good" version?

Hi,

unfortunately, Dewesoft doesn't allow to have two release versions installed on the same computer but the workaround is to use 32 and 64 bit versions. We allow installation of 32-bit and 64-bit Dewesoft even if the version is the same (release version).

These are the versions which can be used on the same PC.

X3 SP9 release 64-bit

X3 SP10 release 32-bit

If the SP10 is OK you can then update also the 64-bit version.
