"Sample Rate" Input Control widget shows bandwidth not Sample Rate
This seems to be new/different behaviour.
The default measurement recorder screen has the Filename and Sample Rate Input control widgets at the top; but the sample rate action references the Bandwidth not the actual sample rate like I remember it in other builds.
Dear Lemmy Atom
The widget you are referring to displays the "Dynamic acquisition rate" for the entire system and is not linked to any specific channel. I agree that the "sample rate" label in the display options could be clearer about what it's showing.
You mentioned that this value is now the "Bandwidth." Could you please clarify which value you are referring to? In my understanding, a dynamic acquisition rate of 20,000 Hz results in a bandwidth of 7,812 Hz, so I want to ensure we are discussing the same parameter.
For my testing, I confirmed this behaviour in both the latest version 2025.2 and an earlier version 2024.5. You mentioned it was different in other builds; could you please specify which versions you are referring to?
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the reply.
I have a couple corrections to make. Firstly, I used the term "Bandwidth" when I should have said Dynamic Acquisition Rate.
Second; after looking over some data taken with previous versions and you're correct, the sample rate widget had always displayed this Dynamic acquisition rate. I guess I'd always adjusted this to get my desired sample rates low enough (which would reflect a change in the widget) but never paid much attention beyond that. I'd assumed that had always been Sample Rate.
Which begs the question, why wouldn't this widget show "Sample Rate" (as its worded in the display option)? This seems like a more useful bit of information than dynamic acquisition rate.
This widget is not tied to any specific channel, so it will only display the global "Dynamic acquisition rate". The wording "Sample rate" is indeed a bit too general. I'll talk to development if would can implement something.
In the mean time you can press "Control + Shift + I" keyboard shortcut. This displays the channel information in measure mode, and you can see the sample rates of each channel there.
