Hello,

I'm wondering if there's a setting I need to adjust. Or maybe an Adobe setting (?)

Trying to report print a 3D plot to pdf and getting blank sheets. I've attached the successful 2D plot pdf as well as a screen grab of the 3D plot that only prints as a blank page when printing a report to pdf.

I'm running the latest Version 2025.2 (release-250802) (64 bit)

Dear Jon,

thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues printing 3D plots to pdf.

It looks like you meant to attach some images, but weren't successful, could you please try again?

I tested the behaviour on my side, but was able to easily create a pdf file. Please se the image below:

Which pdf provider do you use as a printer?

Best regards,

Pika

We use Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020. I am attempting again to upload files, but it is not working. I see the attachment sprite for my files, but it has a fill bar that is not filling. One file is a .pdf and one file is a .png

Again, I can print 2D plots to .pdf, but not 3D plots.

@Pika Kreča Šmid

Pika,

So I copied your print settings, specifically: "Microsoft Print to PDF" and "A4' paper and was able to print 3D graphs.

Further testing and it appears that I just need the "Microsoft Print to PDF".

Selecting "Adobe PDF" will print 2D plots but not 3D plots.

I should be all set now. Except I still can't upload a file to this forum :)

Thank you.

Jon

Dear Jon,

thank you for the great update, I am glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue.

We could see that some PDF converters, due to the drivers they are based on, produce bugged results if utilized in our software, and there's unfortunately nothing we can do on our side to remedy these situations. I would therefore recommend you use Microsoft Print to PDF when printing 3D plots.

Best regards,

Pika
