Reading the CAN bus

Hello,

I am trying to read CAN messages from a DTI traction inverter connected to a DEWE43A through an OBD2 adapter. I have also imported the official .dbc file into the setup.

The only activity I can see in the channel setup is the increasing count of received messages in the Bus Traffic section, along with a slightly varying frequency (around 3650 Hz) of the "Message" message. However, I don’t see any actual bus traffic in the channel setup no matter if .dbc file is imported or not or if Scan checkbox is checked or not.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance!

Dear Martin,

You have mentioned that you are using the OBD2 protocol.

We would suggest selecting the OBD2 communication plugin in the software settings:

When the OBD2 is enabled, it should be shown next to the port name.

Regards.

Rok

Hello!

The issue appeared to be on my side, not related to Dewesoft.

Sorry for taking up your time and thank You for the support!
