Hello to all,

I'm a student in scientific option at the university and I'm currently using the DewesoftX software. We are currently working on a vibration project and we don't understand a part of the software called "Waveform". Indeed, we have done different tests in "Continuous random" and "Swept sine" modes. Only, we do not understand the difference between the two modes, when we plot, we do not understand the difference.

Would it be possible to enlighten us on these parameters? Thank you very much, and have a nice day.

Best wishes,

Dear Anthony,

For a better understanding, we would need some additional information about your project.

From the described parts of the software that are causing you some issues, I assume that you are performing the modal analysis?

We have a description of the Waveform in our F1 manual. If you are stuck in the software simply press F1 and Dewesoft will open the manual in the browser.

An explanation about ''Continuous random'' and ''Sine sweep'' modes can be found in our ProTraining portal.

Best regards.

Rok
