numeric control - need more precision shown

The attached screen shot shows a numeric control I'm using for data entry.

The value entered will be small. I can enter a smaller value, (let's say 0.0005) but when I press "enter" the displayed value will be 0.00

The value is stored internally as 0.0005, but I don't see a way to increase the resolution on the display.

Nevermind - I decided to use a form instead to capture the data, and use a numeric indicator to show the data with plenty of resolution.
