Modal vectors

Hi,

I want to extract the modal vectors (the displacements with signs of the points where the sensors are installed) of all the modal shapes that I've identified in a modal test.

Is that possible?

I'm using Dewesoft X3 SP6.

Dear Dario,

at the moment it is not possible to extract Modal vectors directly from Dewesoft.

You can export time domain signals, FRFs, coherences, phases and you can export the animation of geometry at a certain frequency.

If you want to extract Modal vectors you need an advanced modal analysis software (MEscope, ...). To transfer data we have a dedicated UNV export.
