Matlab Export Variable Names

I am able to export to MATLab .mat file. Unfortunately, sometimes it changes the variable names. It is adding several underscores and a zero to each variable name. Is there a way to get around this?

Hi,

the underscore replaces the space in channel name because the Matlab doesn't support the white space character. Zeros are added if multiple channels have the same name.
