Hi currently running Dewseoft X 2023.3 and trying to export data as below

Multiple Analogue and math channels

Channels logged at 16Hz to 20kHz

Logger Sample rate set to 20kHz

In order to reduce the output file size i would like to only output a single time channel per logged file, Your data export training implies that this is possible (refer below):

"Matlab can also export each channel with separate time channel or exports all data with full speed if you manually set the export rate (Hz) to the maximum value. Resampler does the job of linear interpolation, hold or alias-free when exporting to Export data to custom rates."

Export rate for all low speed channels has been set to 20kHz

Resampler type set to Auto (Alias free)

Export rate for Full rate channels set to Default

Resampler option greyed out and reads Disabled

Data is being exported at full data rate with the Reference time set to Trigger Time

Have I missed something or is it not possible to only output a single Time channel?

I have also tried exporting only 2 channels of data (logged at the full rate for the file) and it also outputs a time channel for each.

Thanks

Dear Tristan,

thank you for reaching out to us. To have one time channel please set the export rate to the highest possible. Then select the option Merge time channels per sample rate. The exported .mat file will have only one time axis with the name Data1_time_100Hz. Please refer to the attached image.

Kind regards.

Gregor,

I assume that is an option that was added post 2023.3 release as I cannot find the Merge time channels per sample rate feature.

Thanks

Dear Tristan,

yes that is correct, the option Merge time channels per sample rate was implemented in 2023.5.

Kind regards.
