Please can someone provide some guidance on downloading maps for the new map wdiget as it appears the help documentation has not yet been updated to include this.

At the "Download Raster data" window, I am presented with my current Coordinates and set the file location - But what does the Levels "to" setting do? If I increase the default value from 10 to 20, does it download a larger region?

Once the data has been downloaded, will dewesoft automatically switch from "live" to downloaded data if the internet connection is lost? The Windows tablet that we use for Dewesoft has no SIM card so once it is outside the office has no internet connectivity. We would like to download map data (no satellite required) for our state, preferably all of Australia, before leaving the office.

Dear Phill

the levels or layers gave you more detailed "map", or with other words the levels define the level of detail. So the first level should be an overview of the whole world, the higher levels will give you more details of the selected area. If you already tried to download the levels you will see that for each level a new folder is created. In the folder you will find the "images" for each layer. If you check the e.g. 15 layer there should be multiple pictures.

The Downloaded levels are not automatically added to the MAP widget, but instead it must be then imported back to the map.

I recommend that you watch the following webinar where the MAP widget is explained more detailed.

If you have any additional questions please let us know.
