Large Data File Size

Hello, I recently took four channels of accelerometer data at 20kHz then post-processed with the Order Tracking tool. This tool creates a lot of other channels and greatly increases the file size. The raw data file was about 90MB and after I post-processed, the file size was 330MB. In order to save space on my hard-drive, I wanted to delete all of the Order tracking channels. After doing this, the file size did not decrease. Then, I performed the Order Tracking tool again and the file size increased to 660MB. Every time I repeat this process, the file size will increase but never decrease. Do you know why this is happening? When I delete the channels and Order Tracking tool, does that not actually get rid of the data associated with that test module? This hasn't really caused a problem for me yet, I am just curious.

thank you for posting your findings. Such increasing size of data file is normal. You can find explanation in FAQ Dewesoft file size doesn't decrease when removing mathematics/modules.
