Is there a settings (cfg.) file that can be copied to other installs?

I have X3 installed on several machines in the facility. Is there a settings file or .cfg file i can copy over from an established install to the newer installs so I don't have to manually change settings options each time?

if you want to copy all the configurations that you performed in the "Settings, so Global variables, Data header etc... You need to copy the Project file (*.dxp) to the system folder. The project file can also be imported from the setup or data file.

But this does not include for example the sensor base. The sensor configuration are described in another *.dxb file. So this file needs to be also copied.

Hello Eva, I've tried what you suggested but it didn't work for me. Also I've tried this:

Loading the project from a setup file works, altough it doesn't change the save paths and default folders in the files and folders section

I noticed that you are trying to import project file from .dxp file and that is why you get an error. Importing of project dxp file needs to be done from .dxs, .dxd, .xml or .dxpp file and not .dxp project file.

To load the Analyze.dxp project file please copy it to the System folder of DewesoftX installation and close DewesoftX. The project should now be visible under Options->Project.
