Is it possible to import data channels from a zipped *.dxz file. Currently. it expects the file to be *.dxd or*.d7d.

Dear Dino,

importing zipped data is currently not supported. But we already have this on the wish list, to implement it in the future.

Thanks.

When will this wish become true?

To work around the absence of the above mentioned wish, I tried exporting a *.dxz file back to *.dxd file. The export appeared to have worked and i can open the new *.dxd file OK.

However, when i use the import tool to import this *.dxd file, nothing happens. No import, No error message nothing.

I must admit, Dewesoft could do better with error handling. I am seeing a lot of crash and unresponsive gui for no apparent reason. Version I have is

DewesoftX
Version: 2020.1 (RELEASE-200922) (64-bit)

Dear Dino,

unfortunately, we do not have the timeline for this implementation.

I have create a simple *.dxz file and export it to *.dxd. Then import the *.dxd channel to the reference data file.Everything was working properly with the 2020.1 Release version.

What kind of channels do you have? Is it possible that you provide the data files, or only the *.dxz version so we can test this on our site.

We apologize for the inconvenienties. We took every comment siriusly because we always want to improve the functionality of our software.
