Historian Docker question

Will the historian system be updated to modern version of influxdb and grafana? Influx is on 1.8.x which I think was end of lifed in 2021 (could be wrong) and at any rate is not forward compatible with the 2.x branch and has to be converted to the new format. Grafana is 6.3 which is also quite old.

thank you for reaching out to us. We are still using influxdb 1.8 and Grafana 6.3. While we plan to upgrade to newest Grafana this year, we will not update to newer influxdb for now. If you are using the OPC UA Historian and want to switch to the new MQTT Historian, you need to follow the manual here. New channels will be created in the database, so you would need to manually copy data from old channels to new ones in influxdb if you migrate. Would that be OK for you?

I am not currently using the historian addon, just trying it out and trying to understand what it provides compared to setting up the same open source components that come in the docker or using something like ignition server.
