Is it poissible to include a header (with company logo, data file name, time etc) in the Report display that is being printed. One would have thought, enabling the "Show header" option on the left of the Report dislplay would give you just this, except it doesn't seem to work for me. It works as I expect on a Regular display though. See pictures attached. Can you advice?

Dear Dino,

For proper editing you must add the Report option in the Review mode under Displays.

For header/footer edit it's basically like header/footer editing in Word. You just double click on the top/bottom of the page and you will move into editing mode and you can add Test or Image to the header/footer.

And when you got the Report done, it will be shown in Print option.
In this release you have a show header check box, but it will be removed in future releases. In this release the header can't be "saved" and used in multiple reports, but in future releases this option will come for easier use of Report option.

One more thing, in last release we have some problems with zooming like shown below. I recommend you to use 100% mode not to have problems.

Hope that this will help you and reach to use if you'll need anything.

Best regards.

Many thanks for the explanation Matjaž. Just wondering why go through all of this, when you already have an option to add Report header thorugh the Options -> Settings window. See pictures attached. As previosuly stated, I can use this header info (logo, file name, time etc), if I print from a Normal Display. However, when i print from a Report Display, the header is missing. Now I know you can add text and image as you have explained, but why, if this feature is already available. Is there a ligitimate reason for why a Normal / Report display headers are treated differently?

Dear Dino

Our development has gone in directions mentioned above, in near future customers will get the possibility to save and upload header/footer so things will get a loot more user friendly. Header set in the settings is "old" and will get out of use and will be removed from software when new templates and saved headers will be uploadable. The report is in faze of development from ground zero and it will get better and better with every new Release.

I hope that this help you understand our politics and that you are looking forward to the future with us.

Best regards Matjaž Strniša.
