I can't access the lower portion of the sensor setup window. And there's no "grab handles" to resize any of the Window sections.

I believe in earlier versions there was at least a slider bar.

Dear Lemmy,

I have checked an older version, and there was no slider bar. In the new version, a new feature was added that caused the buttons to shift lower.

I will report this to the developers.

Follow up to the GUI bug mentioned in the first post.

I've updated to the new 2025.2 version and the GUI issue is still present.

But what's more interesting is I just discovered. The option for Velocity is only available when the channel is set to Used. If Unused the option simply disappears.

Is this a bug or a feature? I about lost my mind trying to find the Velocity option until I gave up created a math channel and set the channel to Used. Then I noticed it appeared.

Screenshots for clarity:

Velocity option unavailable when channel is set to "Unused"

Velocity option becomes available when channel is set to "Used"

Please report back if this is normal behaviour so I can communicate it to my colleagues.

Dear Lemmy,

I have checked the GUI issue status, and it is still in development. It will be released in DewesoftX 2025.3 (release-candidate).

And about the missing Velocity calculations, this is expected behaviour because the required math cannot be performed if the channel is not used.

The 2025.1 behaves the same.

Dear Lemmy,

we would like to inform you that the issue "Sensor setup window has a partial obstruction" was resolved in the new DewesoftX version 2025/3/RC-251105, which is already available on our website or it can be updated via our "Check for update" functionality within the software.

Best regards.

Rok
