Feature request: Option to show channel name with cursor values. (screenshot for clarity)
I've imported data from several test samples into a single .dxd file to compare all in one graph.
By default the channels are colored the same which makes differentiating them at a glance very difficult.
Can the channel name be added to the cursor values at the top left of the graph? This would be extremely helpful.
Or is there another workaround besides manually changing the colors of each channel?
Hello,
thanks for contacting us. Currently I don't see a way for the name of the channel where the mouse is to appear. I'll try to see if there's a way already, otherwise I'll suggest an improvement.
One thing to note is that you can select all channels and when you select one colour it will not colour all the channels the same, but each channel will have a shade of chosen colour.

The method you suggest for color changing seems to only apply a color gradient to the selected channels. Which doesn't differentiate the channels any better than being a single color.
Keep in mind, these are channels IMPORTED from other datasets for overlay. So sometimes they're almost line-on-line with each other.
I don't mind them being the same color but I need to know which channel I have the cursor hovering over. And currently there's no way to do this but manually changing them to complementary colors.
Thanks
Hi again,
I've also missed it but the channel name where the cursor is does appear at the top. On your picture its "Force (N)". Below is my example:

Well I feel dumb.
This does bring to light however, that when importing other datasets (in my case) all channels were labeled the same. Again, leaving no differentiation.
So okay, were back to either manually changing colors or channel names. Not the worst problem I suppose.
