Extending Hardware Channel Count (Synchronization of two Dewe43A's)
Hello,
We have a test setup where 8 analog channels are not enough (noise and vibration channels) so we need to extend the channel count of our Dewetron (we have two Dewe43A's). Is syncronization the easiest way to extend analog channel count in our case?
If yes, is there a tutorial or a video showing how to sync two Dewesoft hardware units for extending the analog channel count, thanks.

Hi Matt,
Please find the scheme on how to connect two DEWE43 devices (on the scheme are SIRIUS devices but it doesn't make any difference to DEWE43). To synchronize two USB devices you need only a sync cable L00B4m-L00B4m-Xm (yellow cable).
Data
- USB type A to USB type B mini
- USB1-USB2s-(1m, 1.8m, 5m)
Power
- Power supply (2pin)
- PS-120-L1B2f
- Power supply daisy chain
- L1B2m-L1B2f-Xm
Synchronization
- Synchronization cable
- L00B4m-L00B4m-Xm
Best regards
Hi Matic,
Thanks for your prompt reply regarding hardware connections, I was referring to Dewesoft software settings also. I think a step by step software tutorial would be very handy for extending channel count on Dewesoft devices, thanks.

Hi Matt,
On the software side, you don't need a special tutorial. Just use Automatic settings and Dewesoft will set proper settings (IRIG-B DC is predefined).
The number of channels gets increased under the Ch. setup and new devices appear on the left side.
