Export automation

We are saving individual tests to separate folders in a structure to enable larger scale data management. So essentially, we have a folder structure that is ~5 layers deep and we save one test per bottom level folder. To enable our data analysis, we need to export the native Dewesoft multifiles to the *.h5 format.

I'd like to find a way to automate this work; is there a Dewesoft NET command for exporting files? I suspect I'll need to go to something like Python to crawl through the folder structure to find all the saved files, but if I can point the export command to the top folder and it exports everything that would be all the better. Thanks for your help!

Dear Katie,

If you have Multifiles grouped as one file:

they will be combined like this.

Then you can export each group with just one click to "multifile export".

If this doesn't work for you, then you can do a Sequence, which will search files within each folder. I can share with you just a brief idea which will find first file in the folder and then enter the loop which will search next files and export them. The "File manager" block will do this.
