export a Project

I have done all my setup work at my desk and am ready to move it to a remote laptop at a testcell. I have a Project, with global variables, and a sequence and setup that depends on those variables. How can I export the project and its settings? I see there is a selection to import a project.

I can use file explorer to move the sequence and setup, that is no problem.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

each project is actually its own file (with a .dxp file extension) and can be found in the DEWESoft system folder (e.g. "C:\DEWESoftX3\System\X3\default.dxp"). You can copy your project file from your system folder to the folder on the remote laptop and all the global variables will also appear on that PC, when you select the project.
