Excel writer issues

Hi,

I'm working with data headers and global variables to try to name my files (especially the exported excel files with the excel writer plugin). I can get the file name of the dxd file to work but no success with the excel file. Can I call the variables in another way to make it work or is it just a bug with this release?

Dear Benjamin,

thank you for contacting us. The Excel writer can not use variables in file names. In the attachment is a sequencer example which uses header variable as file name to store the data. After the storing is complete the data is automatically exported to Excel file (in to the Export subfolder of DewesoftX).
