As can be seen on the attached image, there is some python code in the end of the exported data. You can imagine my confusion finding this. That code is something I was working with in a text editor during exporting this rather big data set to Excel, involving a copy and paste operation in the text editor.

My only take on this is that Dewesoft software is somehow using the clip board as a means to export to Excel, and also picked unrequested data to paste into the excel file. If I am correct that the clip board is used, you might want to consider the risk of this happening.

This was with Dewesoft version: X3 SP7 (RELEASE-190607) (64-bit)

Dear Tomas,

Yes, our Excel export uses the Copy to Clipboard method to copy data. And yes, if you were to use the clipboard during export, it might happen that some of the other data would be copied to an excel sheet.

We are aware of this risk, so we are already changing the export so that we will no longer use the copy in the clipboard. This type of export will be implemented in the newer versions of Software.

Eva

OK, nice to hear this risk will be removed. Also nice that we can discuss this in public so it will be searchable by someone who has the same problem.
