When I export a stored data file to an excel file, I'm encountering an issue when setting the time axis to absolute (i.e., day + local time). After exporting and opening the file in Excel the store start/stop times within the 'Events' tab appears correct. However when reviewing the values in the 'Data1' tab, the time appears to reset every 8 minutes. All of the data is there, but the time continually resets every 8 minutes. Example: 40 minutes of recorded data would have reset ~5 times.

If I modify the time axis to be 'Relative time' in the export settings then this will change the time axis to start at 0 and just count up. In this mode the data exports OK. I've looked through the various store/export settings and don't understand what may be going on. I've attached some various screenshots of my settings, including an image of where the absolute time resets. Any thoughts?

Dear Taylor,

thank you for reaching out to us.

We took a quick look at the DewesoftX version you are using, which just so happens to be 2021.5. The issue, where the absolute time gets reset every (x samples/ x seconds) when exporting reduced data to CSV is a known one, and has been fixed in the following DewesoftX versions. The version, the closest to yours, with this fix is 2022.1.

We have tried to reproduce the issue you are having in DewesoftX 2023.5, where we can confirm that this issue doesn't happen.

We would therefore suggest you update your software to the newest version of DewesoftX.

Best regards,

Pika
