Hi there,

I am using the Ethernet receiver plugin to collect some data from a system in our train. The data packets received via the stream are numbers encoded in ASCII, and Dewesoft is unable to interpret ASCII encoded numbers. Is there a way to interpret different data formats into numbers in Dewesoft?

Thank you

Hi,

DEWESoft is currently unable to convert ASCII encoded data into a channel. What you can however do is still display that data. If you use the tabular values display visual control, you can select the raw scaling and the ASCII format. This means that you can monitor the values, but you can't use them in any formulas.
