Edit/Modify "Manufacturer" list in sensor editor

Where does this list exist and is there a way to modify or add to it?

thank you for reaching out to us. The Manufacturers list is a part of the analog sensor database, and it currently cannot be modified by the user. The current workaround would be to go to the Analog sensor editor and manually insert the name of the manufacturer for each sensor. 

We will discuss possible modifications to the analog sensor editor as soon as the developers responsible for the sensor editor are available.

Thanks for the reply. I don't believe this list is part of the "database" as you describe, or at least not the AnalogSensors.dxb file, which IS editable. Perhaps in a dll somewhere.

I am familiar with the ability to manually add the name in the Mfg field. I wanted to take it a step further and clean up that list as its cluttered, non-alphabetized, and 90% of the names are irrelevant for me and the Mfg's I do use are NOT in the list (my company being one of them). Being able to edit this at the user level would be helpful.
