Hi,

We have devloped a fairly lengthy sequencer for our control logic. Inroder to allow re-usability of the control logic, we have used the "custom block" feature in your sequencer window. This is quite an intuitive and simple to use feature and so we have used >100 of them in our sequencer. However, when it comes to Debugging, it is a pain navigating through several layers of custom blocks. The only option avaialble at the moment is to use the "Main" button, which takes it to the beginning of the sequence, and then we are having to navigate back through several layers of custom block to get back. Would it be possible to have a simple "back" and "forward" button to either go to "previous" or "next" navigated block?

Dino,

Thank you for your request. It seems like a good suggestion so I will add it to the wish list for further Sequencer development. I would like to say that development of the Sequencer is not a high priority therefore I cannot estimate a release. I would suggest you check changelogs of further releases.

Best regards.

@Matic Pevec

Hi.

Has this suggestion been implemented?

Dear Dino,

I understand how you want to use the Sequence and what you need the navigation blocks for. Now we don't have this function because the point of the Sequence is to perform actions step by step. And if you have changed something in one of the blocks, you need to check the whole sequence.

Thanks for the feedback. I am not sure you have understood the question. The question was "In the sequencer, would it be possible to improve navigation between custom blocks without having to start from the beginning using the existing Main button ?" It was NOT about changing something in the block or the need to check the whole sequence when something has changed.

I think the previous reviewer Matic Pevec agreed on this suggestion. He also mentioned about priority which I understand. Having not seen any chages w.r.t sequencer navigation since the suggestion was made (in 2021), I was simply checking up again on this request.

Dear Dino,

You can use the drop-down list to navigate between custom blocks in sequence. Please see the video I attached.

Best regards!
