I "upgraded" a couple of our PCs to X3 SP8 last week. Now I find that exporting from dewesoft to Matlab is VERY slow.

A 3 channel file at 24kS/s and 2 minutes length exports from Dewesoft X2 SP10 or X3 SP7 to Matlab 7.3 format in 20s

The same file exported from Dewesoft X3 SP8 is only 50% complete after 5 minutes!

I have tried uninstalling SP8 and reinstalling SP7 (the problem goes away). Upgrading SP7 to SP8 (same issue) and a clean install of SP8 (same issue).

Is this a bug? Or did I miss something. Anyone else noticed this?

Hi,

could you please share the data file with us so that we can analyse why the export is slower.

You can send us an email to support@dewesoft.com or create a topic on private forum.

Hi, I'll send you some example files. But the problem is easy to replicate with any X2 or X3 data file.

I found that checking the "export asynchronous channels at full sample rate" box causes the slow export problem to arise.

Without that box checked X3 SP8 exports normally; with it checked, the export is slow (even for files that have NO asynchronous channels) and raises the following error:

  • MatlabComm.WriteValue Access violation at address xxxx in module "libmx.dll". Read of address yyy

This is true for files recorded in X2 or X3 (including X3 SP8).

Hi,

thank you for the data files.

We are aware that export is slower if the "export asynchronous channels at full sample rate" option is enabled.

We will remove this checkbox but the up-sampling can be done using the Export rate (Hz) column in the export view.

I am having the same issues, exporting into Matlab from SP8. It doesn't seem to make a difference if the "export asynchronous channels" check box is selected or not.

It makes SP8 unusable for me so going back to SP7 until the issue is resolved.

Dewe soft X3 SP8 is sharing the expert problem here at the great platform with the best kind of idea. Now I have found the exporting the mat lab in the very slow with the USEssayWriters of channel file at the format of making the great sentiments with the 5 minutes completion.

Dear Lemmy,

Would you please send us the datafile that causes this error when exporting? You can use either use Private forum or support@dewesoft.com.

Best regards

@Lemmy Atom Did you ever solve this? I am having the same issue when simply opening data files.

I am having the same issue, I was able to open some files a customer gave us a few months ago. but now nCode will just ignore them when I try to load from current directory or crash when I try to drag and drop the file into nCode.

Dear Aaron,

If you experience an issue with Runtime error or anything else it would be crucial to have DXD so we can test this out in the development environment. You can send the DXD to Private forum discussion or to support@dewesoft.com directly and the team will check the issue.
