Hello,

I am trying to set up a simple point to point DEWESoft NET configuration where I have one computer that will serve as the measurement computer that will use the Ethernet receiver to sniff Ethernet traffic. The measurement computer is connected to what will be a viewing client by an Ethernet cable. I would like to view the channels I created on my measurement computer with my viewing client. I have set the two computers to be on the same subnet and am able to remote into each computer from the other through VNC but can't get it working through DEWESoft.

I am unable to add measurement units. I am not sure if the available measurement units should be filled in automatically or if I need to add the MAC address for the measurement computer manually. If I attempt to enter the MAC address manually I get the status "No response from measurement unit. Measurement unit not detected."

I have all the licenses I need on the measurement computer and no licenses on the viewing client. I would imagine I'm either missing a step or have incorrect settings. Any help is appreciated!

Dear Connor,

when adding the MU you will see the PC name only if the Launcher is running on this exact PC. This is the "RunExeFile.exe" which you can access in the following folder "ProgramData\DEWESoft Shared"

If the launcher program is not running on the PC you need to enter the PC IP address, which we also recommend.
