I have a motion controller that I connect over ethercat through its configuration software. If dewesoft launcher is running (can not connect to motion controller) or dewesoft is started then I will get disconnected. Is there a way to tell dewesoft to not try to connect to non-dewesoft devices? I have the check box turned off that states to try to connect to experimental ethercat devices. For this setup, I do am using usb dewesoft devices.

If you're not using any Dewesoft EtherCAT devices at all, then I would suggest disabling or uninstalling the "EthercatDAQ Filter" under network interface properties:

If that's not the case it might be worth adding another network interface and use it specifically for Dewesoft EtherCAT devices while disabling the "EthercatDAQ Filter" on the interface that is used for the motion controller.

Thank you when I checked the Ethernet settings I missed that the daq filter was loaded.
