Dewesoft 2024.1 silent uninstall is not completing when deployed via Microsoft Intune - response file mthod

I am packaging up version 2025.3 but we need to remove version Dewesoft 2024.1 first. I am using response file method, it works ok when ran locally, but once I have put it into Microsoft Intune and deploy the package the uninstall of the previous version just hangs and partially uninstalls but won't complete. Please see attached screenshot running the setup.exe with response file.

Please can you tell me how we can resolve this so the uninstall completes, how you uninstall silently via deployment.

Or is there another silent uninstallation method that can be tried rather than response file method

thank you for reaching out to us. We are not familiar with Intune. Do you might have a more detailed log to see on which step it is awaiting the completion?
