Dewe43 Ground Connection

Hi there,

Just wondering, how important is it to connect the GND terminal on the Dewe43 when conducting a vibration survey with two triaxial accelerometers that are mounted with ground isolation. I also bring in a proximity sensor 0-10V voltage signal into the same Dewe, not sure if this matters to your answer.

I have had grounding troubles several times using Sirius and Minitaur slices. Once a machine would not start because the Minitaur was causing voltage issues on the CAN bus. After I grounded the Minitaur to the machines battery the problem went away. I suggest grounding every time. Hope this helps!
