I use the option to make a new datafile every 30 minute (and absolute time). The filenames represent the time in the form "data_yyyymmdd_hhmmss"

In DEWE 7.0.5, filename were neatly "rounded off" to the minute, like data_20140430_130000.

Dewe X SP4 does not do the round off trick, filename are in aform like data_20140430_125959

This is not a big problem, but the rounded off filename is easier to read (especially when you have a lot of files.)

Perhaps this is something that can be fixed in the next release. Or am I missing an option to be set? Thanks.

Hi,

If "Absolute time" option is selected, exact Windows time is used, in that case 30 minutes. Naming takes that same time, so it should match to 00 (seconds) at the end. Or any time when start storing happened.

Best regards,

Marjan

Hi,

well yes, I did use that setting, but the file name was in most files not ending on 00.

However, since yesterday, I use a different DEWE101 (also with DEWesoft X SP4), and now the files names are correct again. So perhaps it is machine dependent?

Thanks for replying.

Best regards,

Harm

Update: sorry, problem is back. FIlenames ending on 5959 again.....

Filenames:

Data_2014_05_12_020000.d7d

Data_2014_05_12_023000.d7d

Data_2014_05_12_030000.d7d

Data_2014_05_12_033000.d7d

Data_2014_05_12_035652.d7d (machine reset)

Data_2014_05_12_035959.d7d

Data_2014_05_12_042959.d7d

(etc)

I have been using this setup for over a year with DEWEsoft 7.05. Since DEWEsoft X / SP4 this "problem" occurs.

Best regards,
