Cycle Times calculation

I need to calculate the cycle time for a cylinder movement. Conditions are for the time to start when the control is activated to the time to stop when cylinder movement has stopped I have setup offline math to try to calculate this post data collection. Is there a way to do this during data collection? Also, I am not able to make a simple subtraction formula calculate for some reason, post processing.

Dear Brandon,

we can create a formula to calculate the time between two trigger conditions in your case the triggers would be the start and stop of movement. It would be easier if you could provide a simple data file, which includes the signal from the cylinder so we have a reference signal on which we can work on.

So what I'm looking for is a solution that I can apply to multiple different Data files, so that post processing is simplified. I need start timing when the joystick is activated, in this file IMU pitch and end timing when movement of the cylinder stops, D-Lift arm. Then I simply need to subtract the 2 times to get the cycle time.

Dear Brandon,

sorry for late response, but this was a bit harder as we expected. It was challenging to get the trigger on the "D_LiftArm" channel, as it doesn't have the same level in every cycle. We then manage to get the trigger using "counting" math but we also added a c++ script. Please look at the data file and let us know if this solution is suitable.
