Counting rising edges

I am attempting to measure the RPM of a motor using rising edges on a hall sensor of which I am recording the output by using an oscilloscope probe on a KRYPTONi-4xLV. If I am able to count the total number of rising edges and divide that by 2, I would be able to get what I am looking for. I have struggled a bit with the digital counter settings, but I am not sure what to do here or if this is even what I want to use.

Dear Justin,

Since you mention that you measure the signal with KRYPTON-LV it is analog input I suppose. In order to measure analog signal you should rather use "Analog sensor math" module instead of Counter module which is intended for digital signals.

The details about the sensor should be set in Counter sensors editor.

You can find more detailed explanation of using Angle sensor math on this link: https://manual.dewesoft.com/x/setupmodule/modules/general/math/machd/anglesensor
