Hello,

I'm trying to create my own "bar graph" since the histogram option is limited. I noticed the XY graph plots a nice line when I am using it but it erases the line whenever I change display screens. I enabled the "Pen Up" option which at least keeps the line from when I was viewing it but I still have holes in the plot from when I wasn't on that display tab. My goal is to have a timer that is enables during a specific step during a cycle and there will be multiple cycles. Cycles will be on the x while the time it took is on the y axis. I've attached a pic of some example formulas and graphs that illustrate what I'm trying to accomplish. My example is a fabricated cycle but essentially the same idea as the full scale cycles take days.

My question is: Is there a way to enable the XY graph to always be drawing and if not is there another plot type that can have different formulas on the x-axis instead of time?

Thanks

Dear Christopher,

the XY recorder is a bit different VC than the standard recorder. If you want to see all the data, you need to configure the size of the XY axis before the signal starts to displaying. Every time the dimensions of the any axis change, the data begins to draw from the start. If you select "Average" or "RMS" values for display type you should always see the signal. But this behaviour is only in the measure mode.

In the Analyze mode, all the data can be presented at once if you enable "Load all buffer".
