Compare dewesoft test setups (*.dxs)

Just wondered, if there is a method for comparing two dewesoft setup files (*.dxs) for differences?

Sure, you can compare XML files of each setup file with https://winmerge.org/ or such programs. Basically DXS file is written in XML form. To extract XML from DXS there are two options.

Datafile DXD

• Use any File export
• Set all export channel to NO
• Toggle "Export setup to xml file
• Find XML file in Export folder

Setup file DXS

• Open DXS with 7-ZIP for example

• Extract "local.xml" out. This is XML of the setup file

Then compare XMLs with WinMerge or similar program.
