Clarity regarding the motor analysis tool.
we are using dewesoftx to visualize the dq axis current of 3 phase pmsm drive using the motor analysis tool. the obtained dq current mimic the motor phase current and vary sinusoidally we expect it to be a dc term. we are using sin cos encoder and interfaced it to the motor analysis setup, how is the angle alignment done. we tried the align to d axis function while the motor is running and it gave different value everytime.
Thank you
Dear Ambareesh,
thank you for reaching out to us.
We would firstly like to apologise for reaching out to you so late via the forum- we did notice that one of our agents reached out to you on a ticket, but it looks like the answer has not reached you.
From your description, I gather that you are working with our Power analysis module, specifically the Motor Analysis section, and are using a sine/cosine encoder to measure the angle.
Unfortunately, we cannot cannot give you a definite advice on how to proceed, as we do not have enough information about your current setup.
We would kindly ask if you could send us the datafile, so that we can see exactly what's going on, and so that we can give you the correct advice.
